No Champion - Flash vs HTML5

Despite all these long-established advantages some people are attempting to kick Flash down from its pedestal by boycotting the technology. Many huge participants like Apple, Opera, Microsoft, and Firefox have all expressed their thoughts. The key issue of the controversy is that HTML5 should substitute Flash as Flash has lots of things to make improvements upon. Naturally there are and will be the niches where Flash continues to be undisplacable.

Mobile web is quickly developing and spreading. As a lot more people become able to link to the internet over a mobile phone they really want the same experience that they have when they use a full-sized computer. Seems like currently Flash is firmly set up in that niche. And that's for a reason. After industry experts studied both technologies on mobile platform there's a bottom line - Flash continues to be better performing than HTML5.

Lots of business and corporate web sites won't probably convert to HTML5 - just for the principle of 'if it ain't broken, don't fix it'. The flexibility and reliability of a Flash web template will provide these websites with stunning visuals which will attract customers and improve the buyer experience.

Okay, time for conclusions. Who'd it be? Only time can tell. As HTML5 and Flash fight against each other, Flash will remain a solid contender in the foreseeable future of the web. With its proven strength for videos and animation on the mobile and presentational niches Flash is here to stay.
